Annual Alley Art Festival back in person next month; deadline approaching to enter student art show

The sixth once-a-year Alley Artwork Festival, a free of charge community function with are living entertainment, artwork demonstrations and children’s actions, is set for June 11 at Environmentally friendly Oak Ranch in Vista.

The nonprofit-curated festival geared to all ages is structured by a collaboration of neighborhood arts teams, spearheaded by The Vista Art Basis and Backfence Modern society. The pageant is aimed at inspiring creativity and focuses on artwork appreciation and variety. The event showcases community, regional and rising artists.

Artists will exhibit a variety of works from present-day to standard, which include kinetic artworks, sculptures, conceptual creations, tunes, puppetry and paintings. Visitors can chat with artists about their function.

Highlights involve music, art demonstrations, a “puppet parade,” portray, sculpture, children’s art pursuits, foods vans and an artist sector.
