Why I deactivated facebook | bleuwater

We drove five and a 50 % hrs to a wedding Friday. If it wasn’t for my dear friend’s daughter, I never believe we would have created the trip following driving nine hours residence from holiday the weekend in advance of. But we did it. Sure! I’m weary!

I wore a vibrant print dress in blue, green and white. When we very first walked into the wedding crowd, I noticed a lady carrying the similar costume! I waved to her and she walked around and we laughed.

“You know it’s reversible,” she said.

I experienced by no means met this particular person right before. She is similar to the groom and I am buddies with the bride’s loved ones.

We were being interrupted by our husbands who informed us it was time to consider a seat for the ceremony.

The wedding was charming. It was held outside in the vicinity of San Diego at Mt. Woodson’s Castle — a stone mansion constructed in the 1920s which is now a wedding venue.

After the ceremony, I bolted to the lavatory and flipped my gown within out. Now I was putting on black with white polkadots!

I observed my new friend and she explained “You did not have to do that!” I questioned my spouse to choose a picture of us. I required to share it with a higher college friend who bought me the gown. I believed she’d get a kick out of how the reversible gown came to the rescue.

I posted the photograph on Instagram and tagged her. It instantly posted on facebook.

A single of my other large school close friends commented on my pic in a quite suggestive way. It was creepy. It designed me want to take the image down. Then I considered, I rarely use fb, I’m reading all types of unfavorable issues about facebook in the news. Let’s be done with it!

That is why I deactivated my account.

It is not deleted. I can restart it any time. The only cause why I would do that is for the many years and decades of photographs that are housed there. I may possibly want to download them. Then delete it for good.
