‘Village Headmaster’ Back on Screen After 34 Years

Just after 34 years hiatus, well-liked Nigerian Tv present “Village Headmaster” has now been repackaged and will be demonstrated on 3 regional television stations.

The Director-Normal of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Mallam Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, disclosed on Friday at the relaunch and private screening of the repackaged drama collection in Abuja.

He claimed the drama sequence would be revealed on NTA each and every Sunday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., Africa Unbiased Tv (AIT) each Wednesday from 9.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m. and WAP Tv set each and every Friday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Established in Oja, a fictitious Yoruba village, Ibn Mohammed mentioned the sequence is woven all over the life of the villagers from royalty to the commoners, instruction and so in.

He recalled that prior to the series went off-display screen many years back, it captivated viewers and was addictive to several in those days.

The NTA manager explained the series was brought back to reenact the characters and carry again the moral values, nationwide unity and cohesion it taught in individuals days.
