Tim Allen‘s return to a past character was not what he envisioned. ET’s Lauren Zima spoke with Allen and his “Last Person Standing” co-star, Nancy Travis, forward of the ninth and ultimate time premiere of their Fox sitcom.

Whilst Allen was restricted-lipped about the particulars of his dual position, he did give followers a hint of what to anticipate when “Last Male Standing” returns for its ninth and ultimate year.
