Parents charged in death of 7-month-previous daughter autopsy reveals methamphetamine in baby’s method

MINDEN, La. (KSLA) – The mother and father of a 7-thirty day period-old lady have been arrested and billed with negligent homicide just after an autopsy discovered methamphetamine in the baby’s system.

Officials with the Minden Law enforcement Section say on Dec. 8 all-around 1:30 p.m., officers had been termed out to Minden Motel about an unresponsive little one. Police say they did not in the beginning suspect foul enjoy in the infant’s death, but the autopsy report from the Webster Parish Coroner’s Business office reveals the toddler died of methamphetamine intoxication.

On the working day of the child’s loss of life, the mother reportedly informed law enforcement she’d given the toddler a bottle, then she and the child’s father had fallen asleep along with the toddler in the identical bed.

Minden Police Main Steven Cropper claims the child’s mothers and fathers, 27-12 months-outdated Randavious Mosley and 27-calendar year-previous Shondreka McGlothern, are charged with negligent murder.

They are currently being held in Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Centre, wherever they had been booked late the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 20, scheduling data present. Bond has been established at $500,000 each individual.

Cropper suggests Mosley informed law enforcement that McGlothern experienced 2 grams of meth in her possession the working day just before the baby’s dying.
