Real-talk – getting your baby to sleep when they should be sleeping sometimes feels like an impossible task.

One where the parents often seem to come off worse too, unfortunately.

You’re desperate for your baby to go to sleep before they wake you up in the middle of the night. You haven’t had a good night’s sleep since your baby was born, and you’re really starting to suffer for it.

So much is written about the alleged dos and don’ts of settling your little cherub down, and it can be really tough to find an achievable method which works well for you and your baby.

The hypnotic method really does work, and the tot is fast asleep in under a minute – magic!

Other parents recommend things like any light, repetitive movement, like swaying or swinging, or even playing soft music or tranquil sounds from a white noise machine or app.

They all sound like ideas we’re more than happy to try! Anything for an extra hour or so of sleep to be honest…
