Moms and dads pay back tribute to ‘joyful’ newborn boy killed when van crashed into his pram

A newborn boy who died in a horror automobile and van crash has been remembered as a “joyful” and “happy minor boy” by his heartbroken mom and dad.

Mum Rachael Thorold, 36, was pushing her five-thirty day period-old son Louis in a pram together the pavement beside the A10 in Cambridgeshire on Friday afternoon, January 22, when a car and van collided.

The van came off the road and struck Mrs Thorold and her son’s pram.

Louis tragically died and Mrs Thorold remains in medical center.

Out sister title Cambridgeshire Stay report that the mum is in a critical but stable condition at Addenbrooke’s Healthcare facility.

The driver of the van and the driver of the Mazda suffered slight injuries and remained at the scene.

In tribute, Louis’s father, Chris Thorold said: “We will like you often our very little Louis. You have been only with us for a small time, but you created us the happiest persons in the environment.

“I can not explain how heartbroken we are that you are long gone. You are this sort of a satisfied very little boy and your joyful smile and laughter will under no circumstances depart us.

“Your ma-ma is fighting to keep with us and we are praying that she will make it as a result of.

“You will often be in our hearts and do not be concerned, I am having care of all your animals.

“We adore you so significantly and we know you will now be harmless with Granny, Grandad and Excellent Grandpa in Heaven.

“Take care my minimal Lou, sweet desires.”

Police are pleasing for witnesses or anyone who could have dashcam footage of the collision or moments major up to it.
