‘Home Improvement’ stars Tim Allen, Richard Karn reunite

Get your tools and get ready to hang out with Richard Karn and Tim Allen.

Former “Home Approvement” stars Allen and Karn are reuniting again for History Channel’s latest competition series, “Assembly Required.”

The channel gave viewers an exclusive look into the anticipated reunion, reports Fox News.

On Twitter, the History Channel revealed the duo’s reunion by sharing a short video of Allen and Karn working together in a workspace.

“Ho ho ho. Translation: I’m back in the shop,” Allen says, as he does signature grunts from the famous 1990s sitcom.

“We still got it man, at least I do,” Allen teases before Karn says, “You got something.”

Allen and Karn will be hosts and executive producers of the show. However, they will be joined with April Wilkerson, a DIY expert, as they challenge contestants to “breathe new life into everyday household items in desperate need of fixing,” according to the History Channel’s description for the show.

“Assembly Required reunites Tim Allen with Richard Karn in this new competition series that spotlights the best and brightest builders from across the country, at their home workshops, as they compete to breathe new life into everyday household items in desperate need of fixing,” the History Channel says. “This new series will push each contestant to their limits while testing their ability and ingenuity to not only rebuild it but to build it better.”

Both actors will focus on these items’ unique history and celebrate the men and women who made them.

“Assembly Required” is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, February  23 at 10 p.m. EST on the History Channel.
